VIDEO D CREATES PROPOSAL VIDEO FOR ARTIST RICHARD SERRA

Dennis Diamond and the Video D crew ventured to sculptor Richard Serra's studio to create a videotape of the model for his proposal to the Bilbao Museum. This 20 minute recording was presented to the Bilbao grants committee in Spain. The New York Times reported on February 27, 2004, "The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum has given Richard Serra... one of the grandest but also one of the most expensive contemporary art commmissions of any museum in the world... In a video Mr. Serra made as a presentation to government officials in Bilbao, he explained...,'These pieces are revealed only as you walk through them.'"
